How To Enable Hibernate Mode in Windows 8 and 8.1

Trick2: You can select any other mobile operator network to make your mobile phone not reachable. For this follow this path Setting -> Wireless or Networks (or Phone Settings) -> Network Selection. Here in network selection you must choose Manual. That will search all networks available in your clutter or area, you have to select any network other than the actual one. This will make your mobile in not reachable mode.

Trick3: One of easiest trick to make your mobile not reachable is by putting it in Airplane or Flight mode.

Trick4: Simply divert or forward your mobile calls to a land-line phone number at your home and remove the receiver from the cradle. Whenever someone calls you at your mobile number, the call will be forwarded to that land-line number and the caller will find your mobile out of coverage area or not reachable.

Trick5: The last trick is very easy and interesting. Just make a call to any number and remove the battery of your mobile while the call is preceding on. In that way whenever someone calls you he will hear a message that your mobile is currently not reachable or out of coverage.

How to Disable Applications using more Internet Data in Windows 8 Computer

When you start using Windows 8 in computer, you might be stunned with the huge internet data wasting in applications. Sometimes we sat before our computer having windows 8 operating system and after some time of internet surfing, we get suprised to check our internet data usage. 1. Change Windows Update Settings. You must change windows update settings. By default it is in Automatic Windows Update, you need to change it to first make you notify before downloading any updates. Follow below steps to complete this task.

• Open Control Panel, and Click on System and Security.
• Now hit Windows Update option and then Click on Change settings at left side menu.
• Check for Important Updates option. There are four options available, We have to select third option saying Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them.and then Click OK.

2. Disable Automatic Install Updates of Web Browsers. Web Browsers like Firefox, Chrome, Opera etc. are by default in Automatic Install Updates mode, and that really waste your internet data. Follow below simple steps to disable these automatic updates.

• Open your Web Browser (Say Mozilla Firefox)
• Navigate to Options.
• A pop up window appears, click on Advanced tab.
• Choose Update option. And then click on Check for updates, but let me choose whether to install them.
• Click OK and you've done.

3. Change PC Settings of Windows 8. By default many applications are installed in windows 8 computer and that waste your internet data in continuously updating. You need to disable these applications or make their status to Off for updates.

• Press Win + C, you'll move to charm bar in windows 8.
• Click on Settings option, then click on Change PC Setting showing at bottom of tab. 
• After clicking PC setting you will be directed to a new window, click on Search from the tabs.
• A list of applications or apps will be shown which is using your internet data. Choose unwanted apps from this list and change their status to OFF.

If you want to access internet on your computer or laptop by your mobile through a dial up connection, you need to install proper USB drivers for your mobile to your computer. These USB drivers help your computer to use mobile device as a modem.

You need to download and install these USB drivers from the manufacturer official site of your mobile device, make sure USB data cable should be disconnected from the computer at the time of installation. After you've successfully install these USB drivers, you have to connect your mobile to computer via a working USB data cable. Your computer will automatically detect mobile device as a modem.

Now you have to create a dial up connection, follow below steps. Make sure I'm explaining these steps for Windows 8, but these are applicable for windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 also with some minor change in position.

1. First Go to Control Panel, and then click on Network and Internet.

2. After that click on Networking and Sharing Center. Here you need to click on Set up a new connection or network.

3. A pop up window will appear, click on very first option Connect to the Internet and press Next.

4. Here a list of connections is shown. If you want to connect any already created dial up connection, choose any. But if you want to create a new dial up connection, click on No, create a new connection option. and press Next.

5. Select Dial-up from appeared window, now information of Internet service provider is asked.
Simply type *99# in Dial-up phone number, and leave other information blank. You can also give a name to your connection by filling in Connection name field. And Click Connect.

6. Your computer will start dialing on your dial up modem, and connect it with your mobile. You can access internet by using this dial up connection. This dial up connection will be shown in network connection.

7. Any time you want to access internet through dial up connection, simply connect your mobile device to computer through USB data cable. And click on dial up connection option, click Connect.

8. You've done. Enjoy your internet.

How to use USB Tethering and Portable WiFi Hotspot features to access internet on computer by Android smartphones?
USB Tethering is a simple method to connect internet to your computer by making android mobile as a modem. This is a wire method.

Portable WiFi hotspot is a method to connect internet to your computer by making android mobile as a WiFi hotspot. This is a wireless method.


How to use USB Tethering to access internet on computer.
Follow these simple steps given below

1. Connect your android mobile to laptop or computer via USB data cable.
2. Now click Menu button of mobile. and follow the below path

Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Tethering & portable hotspot -> USB Tethering
After clicking Tethering, your device will show a tethered massage. That shows your mobile has started working as modem and can access internet to computer. You can check the status on your network connectivity icon.

Note : When you connect your mobile to computer via USB data cable, you require a driver to run the internet. If your laptop or computer is not connecting to your mobile or mobile is not acting as a modem, you have to install that driver.

For that Go to Control Panel in your computer, and in Device Manager check Network adapters and Others drivers. If any thing is showing with a yellow exclamation error sign, right click on that and update drivers (you need a internet connection for this process). It will fix your problem of Modem unavailable massage.

If it does not fix your problem or no update drivers are showing, Go to your smartphone or android mobile manufacturer official website. And search for the drivers of your phone model in support section. Download it, Your problem has been fixed.

 
How to use WiFi hotspot to access internet on computer.

1. First you've to convert your android mobile modem to a WiFi hotspot.

To convert your android mobile to a WiFi hotspot, follow given path

Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Tethering & portable hotspot -> Portable Wi-Fi hotspot
When you click on portable WiFi hotspot, a message af hotspot active show below Check box. You've created WiFi hotspot.

You can change the settings of portable WiFi hotspot by clicking Portable WiFi hotspot settings tab below check box. You can configure Network SSID, Security option (WPA2 PSK recommended) and password.

2. Now on your computer check the networks showing, it must show your Portable WiFi hotspot in WiFi networks.
3. Click on this network connection, and then click on Connect.
4. You've done.

You can access internet via USB Tethering and Portable WiFi hotspot on Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8. There will little bit change in every operating system.
